The World of Mojikan Pets

What would they think of next?

MOR(F) Dynamics have thought of a way to use AI technology and 3D design that, so far, has never been done before online. They have created a way for customized 3D images and characters to understand human language and respond to it, immerse and chat with users in real time. Mojikan is a new site that allows users to create online pets and offers the very first real-time 3D instant messenger.

This innovation has brought interactive tools to the next level. The overall concept reminds me of those Tamagotchis that came out a few years ago. A lot of kids, and adults alike were hooked with the concept of virtual pets. The AI used back then is kind of primitive and rough if compared with Mojikan. So the possibility of people getting hooked with the higher AI and 3D technology of Mojikan is not that far off. The pets in Mojikan do look kinda weird. It’s like a cross between a gremlin and a teletubby.

If MOR(F) plays its cards right, and develops their AI technology more, they could see a wide market base for Mojikan. Expansion and further developments on the concept could be the key for Mojikan’s success.

Mojikan does, however, require some serious piece of hardware. An internet connection of not less than cable or DSL is needed. Operating system should be Windows XP (Service Pack 2) or Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4). Your computer should be running with at least 2.0 GHz Pentium 4 or better, 1 GB Ram or better, and ATI Radeon X1400 or NVidia GeForce 7300 graphic cards or better.
