After Microsoft backing Facebook, everything else this week just sounds boring.  Today, three investements have caught my attention thanks to TechCrunch, Mashable and GigaOM.

RealSelf is a new product review site with a niche for anti-aging. Well, to be fair, RealSelf addresses other aspects of anti-aging beyond just products. With seed funding from three high profile angel investors, including Richard Barton, CEO of Zillow, Bill Gossman, CEO of Revenue Sciences, and Nick Hanauer, Partner at Second Avenue Partners, RealSelf is starting off on the right foot.

CNET has sold one of its online properties, Webshots, to American Greetings today, for $45 million. This is the first time in a while that CNET has sold one of its properties.

Ethernet’s growing importance as part of the carrier networks, especially in newer telecom economies such as India and China, is one of the main reasons why Nokia Siemens Networks is acquiring privately held Atrica, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based equipment maker. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

And I guess that wraps up this week.  LEt’s hope there’s more excitement int he market next week.
