Round the Clock Acquisitions 12-04-2007

Looks like a lot of VC’s got busy today. Over the pond in the UK, a lingerie e-commerce startup has also raised some funding. Business as usual and good.

1800Diapers Inc ., a Montclair, N.J.-based ecommerce company focused on baby products, has raised $7 million in Series B funding, according to a regulatory filing. Backers include Bessemer Venture Partners and Brand Equity Ventures.

BeCheeky.com, a UK-based online retailer of hard-to-find and mainstream lingerie, has raised Gbp630,000 in seed funding from South West Venture Fund (managed by YFM Group) and individual angels.

Motionbox , a New York-based video sharing and storage website for families, has raised $7 million in Series B funding. Constellation Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Canaan Partners and SAS Investors.

Visible Path has signed a term sheet with a multi-billion international company to sell the company.

Crossloops just raised $3 million in an A-Round led by El Dorado Ventures (which is also an investor in Coghead).

Motionbox, the video site that appeals to doting parents for family video storage and editing, has closed a $7 million Series B round of funding. The round was led by new investor Constellation Ventures, which is a unite of Bear Stearns Asset Management. Previous investors Canaan Partners and SAS Investors also participated in this round.
