LG Electronics along with the PRADA Group unveiled their latest creation in Seoul Korea.  The LG Prada phone is a fashion designed mobile phone that has all the trappings of a Prada bag and an LG smartphone.  This is the second Prada phone released by the electronics company.

The first Prada phone was a touch screen device which easily rivals the Apple iPhone in features.  However the new Prada phone is thinking ahead again by integrating a slide out full QWERTY keyboard to easily rival the Google Android Powered G1.

On the inside, the LG Prada is a smartphone complete with the usual top of the line features, 3G compatibility with video calling, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, full HTML browser.  Technologically speaking, the new LG Prada is even better than the iPhone and the G1 put together.  If the Apple and Google phones come equipped with wimpy 2.0 megapixel cameras, the LG Prada trumps them both even put together with a whopping 5.0 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens.

However, the downfall of the LG Prada may be its operating system and online support.  As mobile phones have now evolved into mobile internet devices, new mobile operating systems like the iPhone 2.0, Windows Mobile and Android are becoming the trend.  The newer mobile operating systems like iPhone and Android have large third party application developers which make their phones more attractive to customers.  However, LG Prada like its predecessor will be using the Symbian OS, a stable tried and tested mobile platform.  Not entirely complimenting the Prada’s hip, stylish, new and trendy nature.

Anyway, the new Prada mobile will be available with a starting price of 600 Euros though major mobile dealerships in Italy, UK, France, Germany, Spain and Netherlands in the 4Q of 2008.
