Google’s plans of making their Mobile Operating System the platform of choice is slowly materializing.  the release of the G1 in the US under T-Mobile has seen its share of success and reviews of the operating system has had no major issues so far.  By Christmas this year, the second Android powered handset will be heading for the Australian Market.

The Kogan Agora is a smartphone running on Google Android. It is the second device to run the operating system.  By the looks of it, it’s more of a Blackberry than an iPhone or G1.  However it does also have a touch screen so it’s now looking more like the Samsung i780.

There are no reviews on the phone yet but it does look promising.  It will start selling in Australia on January 29 next year but pre orders are accepted on Kogan’s website
