For online users who are using Google to search for things and stuff, they might have noticed something different on the search pages. The look may have gotten quite different since a day before. That is because Google has recently introduced certain changes on the look of their search results pages.

According to the Google blog , the Google redesign (however slightly)aims to make things better for the online user in terms of powerful technology, snappy search results as well as the simplicity that Google has been known for.

One key feature of the Google page redesign was the addition of a left hand panel of links. It allows users to have a more convenient way to navigate without getting in the way of the main content. The added panel contain links that previously can be seen on a horizontal panel on top of the old Google search results page.

Another subtle redesign that Google introduced into its new page is the Google logo which is lighter, brighter and simpler. It is a quite a subtle change that not a lot of people would be able to notice it. Other changes were also as subtle like the footer links with their underlines removed. The blue shading on the search box has also been removed to provide added simplicity and balance to the redesign.
