The Google search engine has been displaying Google Doodles almost on a daily basis. A re-done Google logos honor birth anniversaries of important people, milestones of significant inventions, and national holidays. Tomorrow, April 16, would have been Charlie Chaplin’s 122nd birthday and Google celebrated it a day ahead with a Google Doodle unlike any other.

The doodle is in video form, mimicking the silent movies the British comedian is known for. This is Google’s second video doodle, although the tribute about John Lennon was actually an animation.

Some who have seen the video spotted subliminal messaging in regards to its plot.

“Is this Google’s way of telling us you can sell a $1 muffin for $2 using Google by giving it a commission,” one blogger asked.

The video doodle is slowly being introduced in each time zones. Almost all countries would have seen the new Google banner by now.
