Firefox 10 Unveiled Today

January 31st, 2012 at 9:25 pm

The tenth version of Mozilla Firefox browser rolls out today, where most of the updates are done under-the-hood. The only physical sign of the update is the “invisible” Forware button that only appears once you press Back.

The new Firefox 10 comes with new API that provides full-screen viewing of web apps, anti-aliased WebGL graphics, and an “extended support release” that enables enterprise customers to solely download security updates. The browsers now also supports CSS 3D Transitions, as well as the new CSS Inspector. Crashes due to Java applet and moving bookmarks have been taken care of. There is still, of course, the biggest tweaks that are expected to arrive on Firefox version 12.

The Firefox 10 is available for both Windows PCs and Macs.
