BlackBerry maker RIM has announced that its BlackBerry Messenger service will be integrated in Facebook and Twitter. This will allow users of the encrypted instant messaging system to share tweets or Facebook updates quickly from the app.

These integration will be visible among BlackBerry smartphone users, once they update their Facebook for BlackBerry and Twitter for BlackBerry apps to version 3.0. They will notice the new “Share with BBM” button.

Meanwhile a new version of BBM, v6.2, now features animated avatars, as well as integration to BlackBerry Tag. There is also faster voice notes transfer and a more streamlined way to update a profile message.

The updated Twitter for BlackBerry app is now available to download on BB’s App World, while the Facebook counterpart and BBM version 6.2 will arrive over the next ten days.
