Facebook Officially Announces Threaded Comments for Pages

Facebook has officially announced that Pages linked to brands and businesses with at least 10,000 followers will have a new threaded replies comment system. Technically, this feature has been introduced in many pages months ago; it is only now that Facebook has revealed the threaded comments system to the public.

This new comment system enables Facebook users (and also Page administrators) to post a reply on comments placed by other users. These replies appear collapsed as “2 replies” and the like, which you can expand by clicking on the link. Also, comments with the most responses are place on top of the comment thread, which is Facebook’s way of improving interactions between the Pages and its readers.

Page administrators have the option to activate the new feature today, but it will roll out to all qualified pages and profiles beginning July 10th.
