Bing in the Classroom

Microsoft has announced that its Bing school program, named Bing in the Classroom, has expanded its available to all grade schoools in the United States. The program ensures that elementary and middle school students would be able search the Internet safely and smartly.

The move would also allow any school to fill out a form to remove online advertisements, receive daily lesson plans, and keep adult content filtered. As part of the launch, parents will have easy access to monitor if their child’s school is using Bing and keep tabs on the kid’s progress into earning free Surface tablets through search credits.

The pilot phase of the program provided Bing search to over 5,000 schools.
