Google’s New Algorithm Takes Aim on Content Farms

Google has updated its algorithm last week, aiming to demote what they call “lousy and useless” websites, most of which are content farms such as Associated Content and Demand Media. These sites always managed to float on top of search results on a variety of keywords. The effect of the update seems to become visible this week, with sites such as WiseGeek.com (pictured), EZArticles.com, and Suite101.c
 

Google Clamping Down On Duplicate Content

Although online search giant Google has recently been making noises on their other businesses, it still does put online search as a priority. It still is the company’s main focus and getting better search results is a matter of improving the service to cater to the needs and wants of online users. One issue that Google has worked on is on the case of duplicate content. According to a new entry on Google̵
